Samsung’s 2024 flagship has landed. The S24 Ultra has a new titanium frame, an improved telephoto camera, and is packed with new AI smarts and features. It’s also more expensive than ever.

However, this year’s S23 series features artificial intelligence functions rather than hardware. Artificial intelligence tools span text and translation, photography and search. Many of the AI ​​features are already available from other services like ChatGPT and Bard, but they’re all shoehorned into the base tier of the S24 series, so you can summarize, auto-format, spell-check, or Translate your letters on the go. (Obviously, the transcription is also very impressive, but that’s probably why I’m excited as a reporter.)
