(NYSE: CALX) announced significant updates to Calix SmartBiz™ to further accelerate the growth of its customers and the small businesses they serve. These updates bring multiple benefits to broadband service providers (BSPs), including faster onboarding of small business users, expanded support capabilities and deeper cloud insights to accelerate market penetration.

SmartBiz is a purpose-built small business solution that unlocks new revenue opportunities for BSPs, serving small businesses (approximately 40 million) in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. This all-in-one solution enables BSP to provide everything small businesses need to meet customer needs while ensuring seamless employee productivity, including managed Wi-Fi, network security and a variety of integrated features that increase operational efficiency. New guest Wi-Fi insights can also help small business owners improve the effectiveness of revenue-generating marketing campaigns.

Calix releases support for secondary wired backup connections to ensure business continuity for critical equipment and transactions.   • Easily manage your small business account with expanded support insights and features. Calix Service Cloud releases additional support features for SmartBiz so BSPs can increase the efficiency of small business owners through expanded service management and support tools. BSP customer service representatives can now remotely set employee access time limits and secondary Ethernet WAN connections for resiliency, helping small business owners remotely modify or troubleshoot their service experience.

Smart Start for Managed Services is part of the award-winning Calix Customer Success Services team, allowing BSPs to quickly and confidently plan, launch, support and grow SmartBiz.
