8Bitdo retro mechanical keyboard supports custom key mapping and can work wired or wirelessly. The “N version” is inspired by the NES and comes in off-white/dark gray/black color schemes. The “Fami Edition” draws inspiration from the Japanese Famicom, using white and deep red tones.

Both models feature old-school charm dials and power indicators that fit their retro theme. The Fami version pays homage to the Famicom’s 1980s regional releases (and Nintendo’s home country), with Japanese text below the English text.

The keyboard’s charms are bundled accessories that you can customize for any action you like. You can assign them as shortcuts to save files, close windows, in-game attacks, or anything else you like. These buttons connect to the keyboard via a 3.5mm jack.

On a single charge (four hours), the keyboard is expected to last 200 hours. It has 87 buttons and supports Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless and USB modes. While officially only compatible with Windows and Android, the accessory is also available on macOS.
